Carley Packard

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Carley moved to Maine as a young adult just before getting married. She and her husband have been busy raising their two children and building a life together. They proudly continue to date each other for more than twenty-five years.

Like many authors, her style and preferred writing methods have changed since her early teen years when this passion for storytelling emerged from her soul. Women's Fiction and Romance have always inspired her. She was greatly influenced by her Nanny's summertime library full of the great Danielle Steel and Nora Roberts. Her mum's tolerance for hours spent reading during the day and late-night writing sessions fostered the creative mind. Finding the romance in everyday living has been a gift she wanted to share with the world in her stories. Come on this journey with Carley. Women's Fiction with "Real-life Romance" journeys.

You may wonder what prompted the final push to publish the very first book. Honestly, I was, as our daughter would say, "low key" eavesdropping. I overheard a woman, appearing to be nearly twice my age, discussing her manuscript with another person. Passion filled her as I heard her say the magic words that turned this writer into an author "After forty years working on it, I think I finally have what publishers will like!"

That was it I wanted more for myself. I knew I would push that self publish button right then and there. Within the year I made it happen with love and support from my family and some pretty awesome friends in my circle.
